The 26 year old is racing this season for the first time with Team Penske in the exhilarating series that is IndyCar, and this Sunday, the 2017 season finale in Sonoma, California, will be Newgarden’s 100th IndyCar career race. The cherry on top? He’s headed into the final race leading the hunt for the championship by three points. This year alone, he’s had 4 wins, 9 top five finishes and 12 top 10 finishes, his best season by far of the six he’s completed.
